PODS Advanced Releases

For testing, analysis and feedback

Being a part of the PODS Community is all about collaboration, innovation and crowd sourcing.  This development is led by the Technical Committee on Governance, responsible for the strategic technical direction of the PODS Association and managed by the Technical Committee on Data Modeling. The work, including debate, deliberation, and resulting recommendations, is conducted through the assigned Project Teams and Work Groups.

One of the ways to get involved is to jump into testing advanced releases of new models and modules here.

We offer two ways to get involved, so you can pick whichever fits your team — or do both:

  1. Evaluation & Comment:  Review the module's documentation (data dictionary, user guide, deployment guide, and all the other deliverables from the AP program or working group output/work) and the design document summary, and give feedback on structure, gaps, and real-world applicability. No deployment is required; you can start as soon as you have folder access.
  2. Deployment Testing:  Deploy the module into a test (non-production) environment and, with our guidance, populate it with sample data, then exercise the workflows directly.

We're interested in more than just the outcome, please tell us about the process to get there:

  1. How straightforward is deployment and populating the environment?
  2. Were there any issues you hit along the way?
  3. What about ease of use? Functionality?

We have a defined process, and materials ready for both tracks.

Review and/or download the module, information, documentation, video and log your feedback below. Start with the Information, Background and Benefits.
