What is PODS?

The Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) Association is a member-driven nonprofit dedicated to advancing pipeline data management through a collaborative community of industry professionals. With over 200 operators across 39 countries using the PODS model to manage more than 3 million miles of pipeline assets, the organization plays a vital role in promoting safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This session introduces the PODS data model, its evolution, and its critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of pipeline infrastructure.
